Millinery work is part design, part craftsmanship, part sculpture and the endless hunt for the perfect hat block. It draws from the past and looks to the future. Hats range from the very practical to the wildly impractical, from the most functional of fashion forms to the most frivolous of wearable confections. I strive to find some sort of middle ground, for the most part. My hats are part “What is that?” and part “I must have it!”. They are the fun thing that excites you in the closet.
